I have a column of excel values that end with >,

ex

110010>
999>
505550>
ect....

I need to store these values in a variable to compare to another table on another page but i want to exclude the > at the end of the #'s. How would i go about doing this?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
In code, something like

Code:
Sub test4()
Dim x As String
x = Left(Range("A1").Value, Len(Range("A1").Value) - 1)
MsgBox x
End Sub

Edit:

or

Code:
x = Replace(Range("A1").Value, ">", "")

In code, perhaps:

Code:
Sub test()
Dim x As Long
x = Val(Range("A1"))
MsgBox x
End Sub
