Hello all. I feel like there is an easy answer to this, but I'm struggling with it.
I wish to create a column of numbers that look like Image 1

I can get Excel to repeat the pattern, but I need it to *continue* the pattern so the next lines are like Image 2

Any help would be appreciated

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
How many numbers do you want & will they always repeat 4 times?

If you select the four 1's and the four 2's and drag down, you should get four of every number thereafter (for as far as you drag down)?

Hi,

Here's one way, Enter 1 in A2, formula in A3 and dragged down:

Solution
Another option put the number of weeks you want into B1 & this will spill down

@Micron[/USER]: I tried yours first, but Excel did this: (image 3). I currently have the format to General: changing it to Number did the same thing.
@jtakw: Your formula worked!

Thank you everyone for your assistance. I had to go to #52, so this was a huge help.

Number, no decimal places! No code required.

Yes, I noticed. The long and short of it is, if you format the column as stated, a simple alt+drag accomplishes the end result.
