How to hide text typed into the cell during typing it?

Hi everybody,

could anybody help me with following: is it possible during typing content of the cell to show only stars - something like when you enter password when you see only stars but not the text?
But I need somewhere store the text what whas typed into the cell.
Is it possible to write macro in VBA doing that?

Thank you, it looks good, but..
I've tried to use it but now I have another problem - my VBA code is protected with password and when trying to run the macro I get an error because project is locked. Is there a way for a macro to unlock the project, continue running & then lock it again at the end? Or some other way how to run it without project being unlocked at the end?
