Is there a way to highlight a row if it is the active row i.e if I click into any cell in row 2 then the whole row is lit up in yellow or some colour. In that way, I can setup a document so that when a user tabs or arrows down the page, the whole row is highlighted allowing them to easily view across the line all the relevant values.

How about A5:K5?

Hi Brian:

My apologies for picking it up so late -- I had been away for a while and got back on the Board today.

If I have understood you right, you will like to have cells A5:K5 colored when enter something anywhere in row 5 ...

well, select cells A5:K5

then Conditional formatting ...

Formula Is ... =row()=cell("row") -- Format -- Patterns -- specify color

Now cells A5:K5 will be colored when you enter something anywhere in row 5, or press the DEL key anywhere in row 5, or when you are in row 5 and press F9

Please post back if it works for you ... otherwise explain a little further and let us take it from there.

Regards!
