I have data in an Excel sheet and a hyperlink corresponding to each record (row). I click the link in the Excel cell and it opens in a new tab in Chrome.

The webpage has fields which need to be filled using the data in the Excel sheet. I'm currently copy-pasting this from the Excel sheet to the webpage I just opened.

What's the best way to auto-fill the webpage with the data in Excel? (Hopefully something in Excel/VBA, but otherwise how do I go about this requirement?)

Thanks!

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
You can do this by automating IE or Chrome with VBA. Doing it via Chrome requires the installation of the Selenium library and ChromeDriver, which you might need to re-download and reinstall to match your current Chrome version. Doing it via IE is easier because it doesn't have these installation overheads, however your web site might not work with IE11. There are some useful posts in this thread:
