how to resume recording a macro

I have recorded a macro and finished the job. Now I want to resume adding extra lines to my code but I want to do it with recording macro. Is it possible?

I don't believe that's possible. If you try to add to an existing macro, it'll ask you if you want to replace it entirely. Instead, just use the macro recorder to record the new part, and when you're finished, cut and paste the new code into the previous macro.

One more question
pause button doesn't appear during recording the macro. I read some posts in internet, but didn't help.
