How to Sort Faster in Excel 2002?

I have a spreadsheet with over 63000 records on it. There are nine collumns being used. Every day I need to add and subtract about 1000 items then sort. I have formulas in a few of the collumns. It takes longer and longer to sort over time. Does anyone know a way to clean up the spreadsheet or some trick to make it sort faster?? Thanks

Make sure you are in manual calculation mode when you sort.
