How to stop images changing when printed from Excel sheets

I am trying to create a multi-page spreadsheet with images. The images are a transparent gif on top of a background, with a text box detailling the product number. I have gotten all of this to work fine, except when the sheet is printed all of the images skew by getting a little smaller and a little longer. I know that if I paste the images as a meta file they do not change, but the gif loses it's transparency when the file is genereated to a PDF. I am looking for a way to prevent Excel from changing the image when it is printed. The sheet is set to print 100%, and the image is set to not size with the cell. Does anyone know of a control, or code, or something that will stop this?
