As the subject says really, I want to be able to populate a particular cell with a value extracted from a sql database where the sql query uses another cell as a parameter in the 'where' clause of the query.

Thanks in advance

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)

Hi, Ollie. Can you just have a formula in the particular cell to a cell populated by the parameterised query? It is simple enough so I'm thinking I don't understand the question. Say the cell driving the parameterised query is A1, and say the query populates (header A5) from A6 down, then in the particular cell just have =A6 or whatever suits the query (it might return many records). OK? Regards, Fazza
