How does one hyperlink an entry in a cell?

i tried to do a search on the help and i got this

Create a hyperlink to a new file
Right-click the text or graphic you want to represent the hyperlink, and then click Hyperlink on the shortcut menu.

which shortcut menu is being referred to here?

Right-click on the text/object and you should see a "Hyperlink" option.
