Dear MrExcel<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
I have a two part question regarding Hyperlinks and Excel 2010 that I’d like to pose in this forum.
Is it possible to manufacturer a hyperlink using the HYPERLINK function that also includes a screen tip?<o></o>
<o> </o>
I would prefer to create a series of hyperlinks on an excel document which includes a ScreenTip then publish the worksheet via the ‘Save As’ single file web page feature. This would then hopefully provide a mouse over tip or additional information without having to click on the link – ideally all this achieved via the Hyperlink Function without having to manually type in each link tip using the longwinded menu driven Hyperlink ribbon feature?<o></o>
<o> </o>
My Hyperlink formula would then look like, actual “http://....” Link in B1, Friendly Link Name in C1, ScreenTip in D1 = resulting formula in A1<o></o>
Second part of the question, if I have a lengthy Worksheet that again is saved/published using the ‘Save As’ single file web page feature, can I create document web anchors so I can link to multiple places on the document; e.g. if I’m trying to get to a section of the document that is scrolled off the default screen, a web anchor can be used within the url to take me directly to that place, similar to standard web html tags?<o></o>
<o> </o>
Many thanks in advance<o></o>
