I have hyperlinks that link to specific cells on the same sheet (NOT an external link)
The spreadsheet is stored in SharePoint and when checked out the links refer back to the full name from Sharepoint.

When I execute vis Tools / Macro / Macros it works OK

When I use the menu dropdown created with "newMenuItem" to execute the same macro it responds with
"A document with the name -Regional Forecasting.xls- is already open. You cannot open two documents with the same name, etc etc"

What can I do to correct this?

Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Additional information:

The hyperlinks are not really the issue! (sorry), but

When I add a msgbox message at the head of (any) macro, it never displays when I run the macro from the dropdown menu selection. It bahaves as if the macro has an inherent reference to the Sharepoint stored name and that it tries to open the sheet one more time.
