Hyperlinks from Access to Excel worksheets

Hello,

I am using Access'97 and Excel'97.
I am trying to create several buttons on a form that link to an Excel sheet on the Network. The link to the sheet itself works fine.
The problem is: I can't link to the other worksheets within that Excel file. No matter what I put in the 'SubAddress' field, it always just jumps to the first worksheet.
e.g. the 2nd worksheet is called Red Parts, so I enter the following in the SubAddress field: #Red Parts!A1
It is supposed to jump/open to that worksheet with the highlight on cell A1. Instead, I jumps to the first worksheet.
I tried all kinds of OTHER possible combinations, only to get 'Invalid reference' errors.

Any ideas? I know it might be more of an Access problem.
Thanks a lot

Kai

Tried that too

I did that,too.
The path was \\xyz\sheet.xls#Red Parts!A1

When I do that I get an invalid reference error.
