Hyperlinks to email

Hi all need a bit of help with Hyperlinks and alike, I have a spread sheet that I want people to update daily, I know I can put a hyperlink with my email address to it so they can mail me but it does not attach the file or give any details of the update. Has any one got any ideas as to what I can do?
