HELP..... I think I'm a bit out of my depth!

I have created a series of dropdown lists by naming ranges & using data validation.

The final dropdown only contains one choice & this is a hyperlink.

The hyperlink works fine in the data sheet, but in the dropdown it's just showing as normal text.

Is this a cell formatting issue? or does anyone know a way to resolve this.

Many thanks

Jane

I love being proven wrong so I'll just come out and say it: It cannot be done!

However, you could get away with the following:

Say your validation cell is A1
In cell B1 type: =hyperlink(A1)

Oh no, I was so hoping you weren't going to say that (but at least now I know I can stop looking).

The =hyperlinks(B1), may be just enough to get me through, so thanks for that!

Best wishes

This may actually be possible using event-fired code. If you can list the cells that this applies to and the value that should trigger a 'jump' and where it should jump to we may be able to suggest some code.
