Hi All

I have the following problem, and I am clueless on how to solve it. Please assist.
I have a following table:
A 2
A 3
A 4
B 55
B 7
A 2
C 3
C 5
D 87
E 34
F 12
F 43

I wish to obtain the sum for A, B, C, etc respectively. There will be a change each time for entries regarding A, B, C, etc - i.e., there is no fixed number of A's, B's, etc. How do I go about in doin that?

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
