When I enter a 16 digit credit card number, excel flips that last numer to a different number, usually a 0. Why, and how can I fix this?

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
If you have a cell format as number it only recognises up to 15 significant figures. Format cell as text
