I have a checklist for a spreadsheet and have 7 tasks to complete. I need a formula that will tell me when all the tasks have been completed. For Example:

To Do: Check when done

......... X

......... X

etc.

Ready to file: ?

I need a formula here "?" that will show up once all the above tasks have been marked. This is for training purposes. Can anyone help me with this? I have tried IF/THEN but cannot get it to pull for multiple cells, I have also tried NOT(ISBLANK), but it works even if only one of them is filled. I am stumped on this one. If anyone can help, that would be appreciated. I would really like a conditional formatting that will show the cell as red until all the other tasks have been marked off, then turn green, but can't figure out how to do that either.

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
If you X marks are in cells B2:B8, you could use something like =IF(COUNTA(B2:B8)=7, "ready", "not ready")
