If anyone really understands how this works it would be a huge help.

I need to make a share class calculator in excel. Here is what it should do.

I need the output to display from year 1 to year 10.

I am mostly concerned with the Class "B" column

The formula works like this:

Sum(investment_amount + Investment_amount*(rate_of_return-annual_expenses_class_b)

I dont know how to get the "Year That B Converts to A" number in the formlua.

This is kind of hard to explain so please feel free to ask questions. IF you undertand the calulator it probably is very easy.

Two areas of experience are needed. Being a humble programmer, this knowledge is beyond me. However, the path to development is relatively easy.

The first thing you need to do is set up a worksheet with cells to accept the data entries and link them to cells that do the various calculations. It is best to break down the calculation over several cells before trying to make single complicated formulas because you can then check each stage. The results of this will also serve to check those produced by the final version.

If you then post a message with list of inputs/calculation methods/results we will be able to put them into a dialog box. In this case, if the calculation has several stages then keep it that way.
