Ladies and Gentlemen,
I could really use your help here.
I have recently been tasked with modifiying our existing Macros in Excel 2010. The Excel files open great without passwords or issues.
I choose to navigate to the IDE by using ALT + F11, like everyone else. It opens the IDE and everything looks normal.

The current Excel instance appears in the explorer to the left, but it is collapsed.
When I click on the [+] to expand the tree, a msgbox appears asking for a password.

Of course these are legacy files and the original developer is unknown and no longer employed. So we have no knowledge of what it could be.

I know there are a handful of shareware and products out there that claim they will remove shared passwords or break them.

QUESTION!
Do ANY of you have exerience with any of these which really worked? Please contact me if you have any experience with this, or have advice.
At this time, I am so open to any suggestions or advice.

Thanks in advance for your time, consideration and help!!!!
Jack

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Welcome to the Board!

Unfortunately, the question of password hacking here is off limits.

If you can't find the original developer then you'll most likely need a commercial solution.
