Identifying the picture source/name/ in a plot.fill

I need to test what picture source/name was used to fill a plot point on a series collection (of a graph). I can easily change the picture fill, but am unable to test what fill is already in use on that plot point.

I need this to ensure that l do not change a paticular plot point that is filled with a specific picture fill.

This is killing me to work out, so would love any help any one could give.
