I want to add to this formula:

=IF($D$6="Yes","x","")

I want it to say if D6 = "Yes OR if it equals "Pending" then populate the cell with an "x"

I tried =IF($D$6="Yes","x",""),IF($D$6="PENDING","x","")).....but it did not work..what am i doing wrong?
