IF Statement identifying if content is in two different cells

[FONT=&quot]I know this should be simple but I am just not having any luck finding a solution.

I have three cells side by side and I need a formula for the third cell that will tell me when both of the cells to the left have a date in each cell at the same time (dates don’t need to match). I need to be able to drag this formula down the column as there are about 2,000 rows plus or minus.

Hi,

It would be difficult to construct an "if this is a date type
formula "....

If your data isn't a date, what is it, blanks or do your dates fall within any particular range??

I could just use a number in the cell. The important thing is that I need the formula to be true only if there is something in both of the two cells to the left. If one of the two cells has nothing in it then I need a false from the formula.

Maybe the IF statement is not the right one to be using but that is what I have been trying to use.

=IF(AND(A2<>"",B2<>""),"True","False")

Copy down as far as you need

Try this...

=COUNTA(A2:B2)=2

Copy down as needed.
