Hello all,

I am hoping someone may be able to help.

I have been tasked with importing the results of a number of questionnaires into Excel for data collection and analysis purposes.

The questionnaires are in MS Word with the answers being entered into Text Boxes.

If I were to create a folder and in that put all of the answered questionnaires, would it be possible to create some code that would import the answers from each questionnaire and place them in Excel - Ideally with column A being populated with the answers from one questionnaire, Column B being populated from the next questionnaire etc.?

Each questionnaire asks about 40 questions and each questionnaire is identical (although the answers will of course be different).

I have searched the forum and found some code to copy the contents of textboxes within Excel into rows within Excel, but have struggled to find anything that will open up a series of Word files and populate an Excel sheet with the contents of the Text Boxes contained within the Word file.

Any help would be gratefully received.

With kind regards,

Darcy

Hi Darcy ,

If I were to send you a private message with an email address could you send me an example of one of the completed questionnaires.

You may want to change any sensitive information in the document first.

I could then look at putting some VBA code together.
