In cell K30 I have the number 37 with the formula =SUM(K26:K29)
In cell K31 I also have the number 37 with the formula =J30/2
In cell K32 this cell is blank

My question is being that the same number is in K30 and K31, could I have a "0" in K32 instead of a blank cell?

The numbers in K30 and K31 change on a regular basis and usually one is higher than the other and K32 will either show a "+" or a "-". Also can I just copy and paste the correct formula into other cells?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Do you have a formula in cell K32?

Normally a formula will display "0", if not, you may have the zero option turned off for that sheet.
To turn ON zeros...

Click the Office Button
Click "Excel Options"
Click "Advanced" in the Option column
Under "Display option for this worksheet:"
Check the "Show a zero in cells that have zero value" option

Thanks for your reply!

I really didn't want a "0" in all cells that have no value because on my worksheet there may be several of them. I would like to have the "0" in just certain cells if possible!

You can custom format the cells you do not want to display zero.

Select the cells you do not want to display.
Right click
Click "Format Cells"
Under the "Number" tab click "Custom"
In the Type field put a single #
OK

You can use "Format Painter" to copy that format to other cells.
