Hi,

Want to upgrade from XL2003, so tried to install Office 2010 from a CD to a computer with XP 32 bit and SP2. Got the "A problem has been detected and Windows must shut down...." screen. Installed SP3 and tried again, with same result.

May not have anything to do with it, but In both cases on restart got a small task bar window saying Windows firewall was off - even though it was on.

Suggestions as to what to do next?
