Is it possible to freeze of break a link automatically after the value has been entered into the target cell? I would like to link a cell that changes daily to a row in another worksheet that will represent the full month, so each day in the monthly sheet I would like that days linked value to be saved so that it will not change the next day when I change the daily source cell.

Welcome

1. Press Alt-F11 to bring up VBA
2. In the left pane, double-click the sheet to attch this to
3. Paste this into the right pane:

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
if target.column = 1 then target.formula = target.value
End Sub

This assumes you want this to happen to anything in column A.
