Hi, Is there a way to make a macro automatically refresh so that its function obviously repeats itself?

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
It's not clear to me.

What do you mean? Do you mean a macro that is executed for ex. every 5 minutes?

Sorry,
I am trying to prevent the zoom from being altered and thought if I wrote a Macro to change the zoom back to 56% and have this repeated every so often, I would achieve this!
So far I cant find/work out how to have my window revert back to 56% if altered!

Hi

I see. There is no Zoom event and I don't know any direct solution except running the code for ex. every 5 seconds when that worksheet is active, which is not a nice solution.

I would explore a different approach. Instead of reverting to the zoom factor you want, I would try to prevent the user from zooming at all. This may be possible by disabling the zoom buttons when you activate the sheet. This is maybe be interesting to explore.

That was my last approach but I am new to VBA codes etc.
I have managed to disable to zoom function but I can still zoom with the mouse by rolling it and holding Ctrl.
People have said its not possible but I beg to differ!
Failing this, Ill just replace the mouse without a roller lol!
**thats not a bad idea, but I want them! :(**

I was hoping that there was a code for saying..
If zoom is greater than 56% then goto to 56%
If zoom is less than 56% then goto 56%

Unfortunately there is no Zoom event.

I cannot explore this further at the moment, as I have excel 2000 and so I don't even have the ribbon available. I hope someone else is able to suggest a solution.
