Hi All, to keep the data blocks in my model easy to read, I often use something like:

=IF(A2="","",formula,"Yes","No")) or iferror(A2,"")

basically i am testing that if cell A2 is blank, then i have correspond cells in my current data block as blank, just to keep the data block tidy.

given that i several thousand occurrences of this type of formula structure, I am curious if there is a better way to do this and speed up the calculations.

Any advice is great appreciated.

Thanks

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
You can't get much simpler than that, short of actually clearing those cells.
