i have to do a lot of double checking in excel, making certain that dates and names have been entered correctly in headers and more often footers... is there a way to dock the footer in the bottom of the excel window so i dont have to constantly open the header footer dialoge??

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
