I made an excell program which reads stock prices every 3 minutes. But if I let it running for a longer period, there will be warning that memory is not big enough....it is "only" 540 Mb....

Is there a way to free or empty memory that is no more used?

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Hi ylijohe,

Remove all "set" variables from memory by using the following:

All variables in your sub that appear as:

set something = something else

Change to (just before your "end sub" line):

set something = nothing

end sub

There are probably many other things you can do...I'm still learning this stuff. Keep an eye on your post.

Hope it helps.
