I recently noticed I have a problem with refreshing my powerpivot table.
My model consists of two different tables: 1x CSV file and 1 x Excel file. All tables are linked to each other. I update data in source tables by replacing source files. Everything seems to be working fine. Each time I want to refresh my pivot table I just click Refresh using right-click menu. However I recently noticed that only data from my CSV file gets refreshed in order to refresh data in Excel file, I need to load-up the model and refresh table linked to Excel there and only then my pivot table gets updated properly.
Any ideas why?
