Hi everyone,

I apologize if this is a nubie question.

I have a user that when doing a Find & Replace, it doesn't find, even though the text is clearly in two fields (very simple sheet). The same spreadsheet on my PC finds the two results perfectly.

I've checked her Find & Replace settings, they are right, so maybe this is more of an Excel macro issue?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Click the Options button. Make sure that her settings are the same as yours.

Hi, thanks,

Yes, I have checked her options settings under Find & Replace, do you mean more general Excel options?

If she is using a macro for this, please post her code.

Excel "remembers" the settings for find and replace from the previous Find/Replace.

Has a selection (more than one cell) been made or is there only one cell selected?

Lol, user swears that only single cell was selected, however, it is now working!

So unless this is intermittent you have solved it.

Thank you! You and this forum rock...
