Keep in-sheet formulas in table when Power Query updates?

Hi, I'm trying to do the following:
- Get data from a mySQL database via Power Query
- Once the table is loaded, I need to add more columns with custom formulas that I cannot replicate within PowerQuery
- If I update through Power Query, the whole table will be refreshed and my custom formulas are gone.

Is there a way to prevent this? For example if I copy paste new data straight from Excel, the formulas are kept and calculate.

Back into an answer in Excel
Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
Cannot see a way how to accomplish this within the PQ table – it will be overwritten.
But if you reference the fields in the PQ table from a different worksheet, and format this as a table as well, you could add columns as you like and update all at once.
