lateness calculation

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Thanks a lot for answering so soon. Here's a sample of the task I'm dealing with.

Employee 1
Monday OFF
Tuesday 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM
Wednesday 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Thursday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Friday 3:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Saturday 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Sunday OFF

Many of the employees have schedules like this. I hope you can help me to solve this.

What I need is to set up a worksheet that tells if any employee is checking in later than the time he should do it, or leaving earlier than his scheduled time. I need it to evaluate this for each employee on every day of the week and tell me who are late and who leaves early.
Thanks for your kindness.

Hi yogeshmaney,
That's correct, some employees have the same schedule during the week, but a few like this one have irregular schedules.

Hi everyone.
I´m getting frustrated with this task. I can´t figure out the formula to do this calculation. I´m using Win7 Pro and Excel 2007. I need to calculate lateness for each employee, each day of the week. Probably I´m not making myself clear about what I need. Y tried to paste a picture of a sample schedule sheet but I couldn´t. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
