I love learning excel...did the sarcasm come through in that comment?

Here's yet another silly question...I'm sure easily answered. How do I reorder the entries in a legend...when I changed the symbology in my line graph, the order of legend entries changed.

Thanks for you patience!

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

Right click on the data series and select format data series, go to the series order tab and move the series in the order you want.

I actually tried that, but the entry I'm trying to move is not listed in that data series...when i click on the applicable line and select format data series, only the entry i'm trying to move is listed...no options to move it up in the order...any suggestions? thanks for your help

Resurrecting a dead thread...

Say I have Label A and Label B in a Legend at the bottom of a graph, in that order. How can I make Label B appear before Label A in the legend? I tried to reorder the Data Series in the Source Data > Series window, but couldn't drag one over the other. I also tried moving the column where Label B is located to the left of Label A, but to no avail.
