I need to test whether a string contains (*) where * = 1 or more characters ...

I am using ...

ExtractCheck = ExtractPath Like "(*)"

... but it returns FALSE irrespective of whether ExtractPath contains (*) or not ...

I'm pretty certain it's the brackets that are the problem (?), but how do I need to amend my code to get the result I want?
