Linking Different Excel Files

Is there a way or an instruction to link different Excel files, let's say that when I add or change data to one file, could that be also changed in another or more files?

Hi gymwrecker:

There would be two considerations ...

1. If the data of interest is in specific cells -- let us say you have data in cells A1 through K22 in Sheet1;

and you want all of the cella A1 through K22, or some specific cells A7 through B8 in Sheet2 to have the same values as in Sheet1;

then in Sheet2, cell A7, you put =Sheet1!A7, and similarly for other cells of interest;

then whenever the value in any cell of interest changes in Sheet1, the same change will be reflected in the cell of interest in Sheet2 as well.

2. If you want to have some changes in a sheet tracked in other sheets, (without knowing what those cells might be), you could utilize a VBA solution
