Hi im sending an excel (2010) file as an attachment over outlook. the file is located on a netwrok drive that both me and the recipient have acces to.
some cells are linked to another file on the same network drive(actually only one directory up)
when i send the file to a colleague, again he does have access to the network drive the links are changed from T:\ to C:\.
the rest of the link exactly the same but obviosly the link no longer works.
does anyone know a fix for this issue?

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
is the link nested inside the cell - ifexcel cannot find the link it will automatically change to c:\ not sure if there is a way round this

is the link set up as a hyperink as there shouldnt be a problem this way it will let you know that the file loacation is unable to access
