Hi,

I am trying to create a list of items in an excel cell.

I was told to use ' at the start of the cell to get my outcome but cannot seem to make it work.

My desired outcome is:

-text
-text
-text
-text

in a singular cell.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
If you are starting each entry with a "-", if you format the cells as "Text" before making the entries in, it will see that as text and not as a minus sign.
If you want multiple rows in a single cell, use ALT+ENTER for the soft carriage return between each one.

Start with '-text, then do alt + enter to go to the next line.
