Hi, I have a pivot table with multiple columns, most of the columns have numbers in them but a couple of the columns would have text.

When I go to refresh the pivot, depending on the length of text in one of the rows in the column the width of the colum will automatically expand to fit all the text in.

Is there a way to freeze the width of the column without preventing the user from refreshing the file or filtering on it?

Thanks

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Try this
Right click somewhere on the PT and choose 'Pivot Table Options ...' then make sure that this option is not ticked.
