Excel Facts

Who is Mr Spreadsheet?
Author John Walkenbach was Mr Spreadsheet until his retirement in June 2019.
How about:
Excel Formula:
=LOOKUP(D12,A2:H10,A1:H1)

Hi all

I was trying the LOOKUP formula as I don't use that often but going by Georgiboy's formula

I had the below (small sample size data) the below formula for me seems to throw up a N/A when I type in 67 but seems to work when I type in 78. (I have put the data in ascending order as I had read this was what was required t do when using LOOKUP)

Would anyone be able to shed any light where this is going wrong if the formula above works on the larger data size

* Had not seen Georgiboy's last post before I posted up, assuming his LOOKUP formula does not give the OP the desired result

Yes when I tested it with a couple of numbers it seemed to work fine, I then posted here and tested a bit more and it all went a bit waffy.
