macOS excel VBA or alternate solution

I have a VBA on my Windows laptop that can with a macro, copy selected range of cells, as a pic, pastes to the sheet, saves as an image, that also, deletes the previous entry and deletes the pic from the sheet. However, I cannot do this on a macOS beyond the copying the selected range as a photo and pasting to the sheet.
I’d be happy with a VBA or AppleScript, or automated solution to it.
