I need information that is in a link in a webpage. The link is to download information in the form of excel data.

How can I connect in an open workbook to a webpage and then download the link into my already open workbook.

Thanks so much,
Lisa

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
It's called "Exteranl Data" in 2003 and in excel 2007 it's under the data tab and you click From Web.

It will aunch a mini browser in excel and you put your web address and select the table you want the data to populate from.
