Is it possible for when one workbook is opened it automatically opens another at the same time, then saves the data on the new file

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
You can put code into the Workbook_Open event in ThisWorkbook.

eg:

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()

    Dim fName As String
    fName = "C:\Testing.xls"

    Workbooks.Open Filename:=fName

End Sub

Edit: oops forgot the save part, I'm assuming you want to save the workbook we just opened:

Code:
    ActiveWorkbook.Save
