I have a database which contains a fair amount of data - some of which is confidential. This is not a shared database, however i will regularly need to send a "non-confidential" version of this out to colleagues.

Is it possible to write a a set of code and attach this to a button to :
1. Create a duplicate workbook that contains all data.
2. Identify which data is "confidential" and delete this data in the new workbook.

The way that the database is currently used it isn't feasible to constantly maintain 1 confidential and 1 "all access" database - due to the constant updates going into it. ideally it would be nice to just have 1 database and to hit a button which creates a new database without the confidential info - whenever I need to.

Ive been able to figure out how to duplicate a sheet using a macro - along with all its data and formatting - but when it comes to a full workbook with several sheets - formatting - and even macros - it goes way over my head! And the identifying/deleting of confidential data is a mystery to me.

Any help with this would be life saving!
....
Not literally - maybe job saving
....
actually probably just helpful
...

IM LAZY OK
