Hi All,
Please do not mind my silly question.

I am learning to write MACROS and want to design a MACRO to pull email address of a contact from Outlook. This MACRO shoul pull data to an excel sheet once a new dialogue box displaying all the details viz. General, Phone, Address etc. is opened in MS outlook, by keying in the name of the person in search slot at the top right corner in Outlook. Thanks.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Someone asked a question about extracting Outlook contacts a couple of days ago and it was answered. Do a search on the forum for outlook contacts.

You'll need to add some code for the dialog box and to extract the exact properties you want from the ContactItem. A list of ContactItem properties can be found here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb176651(v=office.12).aspx.
