Firstly, I'm on 365
I used to have this happen only on some older spreads and I'd chalk it up to old code or whatever and move on. Now it's happened in one I just created a couple weeks ago.

What happens is that occasionally I'll open a macro-enabled file, the macros are in VB, but they're not displaying when I go to run them nor will they run if I try to within VB.
This is never on every file, it just occasionally occurs in some random one. I've redone all those older files and thought I was done with that issue....but it just happened again in a file I just created when baseball started.

I'd love to either figure out WHY it's happening or how to more easily get past it...or both.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Do the files that it doesn't work on have something in common eg common Network Drive, common folder ?
What happens if you copy the file to say your C drive does it work then ?

What are your macro settings in the Trust Centre ?
