make formula return nothing?

i am using one cel as a multplier for selected other cels.
=e5*f$3
is there a way to keep each cel from having 0 returned in the equation?

I presume F3 is not 0 and therefore it is the column E cells causing the 0 result. If this is the case, try this even simpler one:
=IF(E5,E5*F$3,"")
