Making a sheet the size of the data

Hi
When you press CTRL End it jumps to the last active cell in the sheet. why does this always seam to be miles after the data in the sheet has ended?
I want to get read of all these usless cells after my data finishes. Im using a macro that copies all the workbooks in a folder together but its not working because all my workbooks contain sheets that are miles bigger than the data filled rows.

Never mind ASAP utilites saves the day again. there is a function in the sheet section that removes all empty following rows+columns from your sheet.
